Falls Church, VA, March 25, 2010 – The Accredited Standards Committee (ASC) X12 and Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) announced a collaborative webinar presentation, HIPAA 005010 Road to Success: A Prescription for a Healthy and Successful ASC X12 005010 Implementation, for Wednesday, March 31, 2010, 12 Noon—1 p.m., EDT. The webinar will address strategies for a successful ASC X12 005010 implementation, mandated by HIPAA.
Attendees will hear highlights from the 2009 HIMSS “Provider Survey on 005010 Progress,” as reported to the National Committee on Health and Vital Statistics, as well as the perspectives from a large hospital provider and an academic medical center’s professional provider group, regarding work steps and challenges of ASC X12 005010 implementation efforts.
