Nominations Are Open for the X12 Edward A. Guilbert and Earl J. Bass Awards

Nominations are open for the ASC X12 Edward A. Guilbert and Earl J. Bass awards for 2016. These awards will be presented September 26, 2016 as part of the Fall Standing Meeting in Cincinnati, OH. Nominations close on 8/4/2016.

The Edward A. Guilbert lifetime achievement award is based on long-term contributions and activities. Candidates must meet the following criteria:

  1. Be an ASC X12 individual member or an employee of an ASC X12 organizational member or an employee of an ASC X12 stakeholder.
  2. Exhibit ongoing and continuous outstanding leadership as a proponent of ASC X12 Standards over a number of years.
  3. Be a long-term participant in the development and implementation of ASC X12 Standards.

The Earl J. Bass award is based on contributions and activities over the previous 12 to 18 months. Candidates must meet the following criteria:

  1. Be an ASC X12 individual member or an employee of an ASC X12 organizational member or an employee of an ASC X12 stakeholder.
  2. Exhibit leadership as a proponent of ASC X12 Standards.
  3. Exhibit clear expertise in the implementation and use of ASC X12 Standards.
